Understand, this book is not written to make you feel bad or condemn you if you have not engaged others with the gospel message. This book is written to encourage and inspire you. Even though pastor and author Greg Laurie is a gospel-presenting professional, in this book he tells stories of his own failure and success. The most important things you will find here are biblical principles that you can apply yourself. Taken from the life and witness of Jesus, and tested over Greg´s 40 years of ministry in both one-on-one experiences and large-scale evangelistic arena and stadium events, these ideas are intended to mobilize every person in the church to Tell Someone about Jesus Christ. 1.
Some believed he was the second coming of Christ. William wasn´t so sure. But when that drifter was buried next to the family distillery, everything changed. Now that Prohibition has ended, what the townspeople of Twisted Tree, Kentucky, need most is the revival of the Old Sam Bourbon distillery. But William McFee knows it´ll take a miracle to convince his father, Barley, to once more fill his family´s aging house with barrels full of bourbon. When a drifter recently buried near the distillery begins to draw crowds of pilgrims, the McFees are dubious, but miracles seem to come to those who once interacted with the deceased and to those now praying at his grave. As people descend on the town to visit the ´´Potter´s Field Christ´´, William seeks to find the connection between the tragic death of his younger brother and the mysterious drifter. But as news spreads about the miracles at the potter´s field, the publicity threatens to bring the depth of Barley´s secret past to light and put the entire McFee family in jeopardy. The Angels´ Share is a story of fathers and sons, of young romance, of revenge and redemption, and of the mystery of miracles. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Gabe Wicks. The Gospel is the best news on the face of this earth. Many believers, however, don´t have a clear understanding of what that good news is nor how to share it. Share offers practical insights to help a believer boldly proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to friends, neighbors, and loved ones. This audiobook is not only designed to equip a believer individually to share his or her faith, but it also instructs a small group how to witness to those outside the Christian faith. Share will especially help believers develop relationships with non-Christians by following the example of Jesus Christ, who was a ´´friend of sinners”. This audiobook can be used in a classroom setting or one on one. Share forms part of a five-book series that equips a person to become a fruitful disciple of Jesus Christ. Contents include: Lesson 1: Sharing good news Lesson 2: Sowing the seed Lesson 3: Relational evangelism Lesson 4: Looking for open doors Lesson 5: How to share the message Lesson 6: Sharing your journey Lesson 7: Fishing with a net Lesson 8: Meeting needs as a group How to coach someone using the material index 1. Deep in the heart of every believer, there is a faint whisper. A call. A prompting. We go about our business and we hear it. We see and interact with lost people each day, and the whisper echoes again: ´´Share your faith. Tell them about Jesus.´´ But fear, busyness, and lack of tools or motivation silence the whisper. Another day, another year, another life passes and we haven´t told anyone about the best thing that ever happened to us - the life-changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Modern-day messages of kindness and acceptance deceive us into thinking we never have to open our mouths and actually share the truth with others in love. And yet the whisper is trying to tell you that you have the key to eternity in your possession. Can you hear it? In Compelled, Dudley Rutherford shares his earnest desire for each and every believer to be equipped and bold with the good news of salvation. He encourages you with inspiring stories of men and women, young and old, who have accepted the irresistible call to share Jesus with everyone they meet. And he provides practical methods to overcome your fears and effectively articulate the message of salvation. Allow this book to strengthen the gentle nudging in your spirit until it´s too loud to ignore - until you are compelled to tell others about the hope you´ve found. 1. Language: English. There is too much intentional and mistaken misinformation in our present culture about the purposes and practices of modern Catholicism. This had led to endless bigotry and needless hate speech and deeds against Christ´s original Church. This little audiobook is an attempt to explain to fellow Christians what it really means to be Roman Catholic. It is not a debate. It is an honest attempt on my part to share. It is not an attempt to convert you to joining the more than 1.2 billion Christians that call themselves Catholic. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Joanna Henning. With the popularity of the first book, The Good News About Being Catholic, I was destined to produce a second book. The first book was inspired by conversations I had during a two-week trip to a southern university in the US. The lack of accurate information and the bigotry I encountered by the well-meaning Christians and others along the way was shocking to me. Be that as it may, I decided to write this short piece on the psychological healing aspects of the Sacrament of Confession, now called Reconciliation. In my life and my work as a professional Counselor I cannot think of a single more powerful agent for healing than this Sacrament. I have known many people who have been saved from anxiety, depression, and suicide through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. For others it has brought joy and higher quality of life, which is often hard to describe unless you have experienced it. In this little book I will endeavor to share with you what it is like to be touched by the healing presence of Christ. Disclaimer of Liability Nothing in this book is to be used as a substitute for competent spiritual and psychological counseling. If you have issues, go get help. This is just a frank discussion. Note: all identifying characteristics of the persons have been sanitized from this presentation. The stories are true but the privacy of the individual must be preserved. Full Disclosure: I am a devout Roman Catholic and an avid participant in sacraments. Although I have made every effort to faithfully represent the faith system; you should really talk to a priest if you have concerns or questions. I have had a minimal amount of formal training. 1.
